The Goats of Iron Mountain Farm
our line of registered Nigerian Dwarf goats
Dams
The does at Iron Mountain Farm are bred for health, milk production and ease of handling. By breeding for strong dairy characteristics, we continue to improve milk production. We choose strong, healthy sires to diversify the genetics of our developing herd. Finally, we want gentle, biddable goats who are easy to handle and easy to milk.
Sires
Our bucks are chosen with extreme care from reputable herds with strong dairy lines. We are always looking to strengthen our dairy lines and diversify the gene pool while maintaining the health and easy temperament found in the Iron Mountain does.
Sires
When we choose to breed our does off-site, we are looking to add new genetics as well as specific traits that we want to strengthen within the Iron Mountain herd. Outside studs are chosen for their strong diary lines, health and temperament. All are registered with ADGA. (Photo credit: DiPietro Family Farm)
